Hello Reader,
So you wanna know a little about me? Well, what I enjoy doing most is CRAFTS! My most favorite craft to do in melting crayons on a canvas board to create scenes mainly found in nature. Come to think of it the best crafts I have done incorporate nature. For example, I made “tree jars.” I went out and cut branches from trees and sized them to fit the glass jar, then glued them to the side of the jar. I then added some yarn and flowers for decor. I have turned the guest bedroom of my house into my very own craft room! I recently acquired a beautiful craft table which I found on craigslist. For me, it’s all about finding a cheap craft that is either a source of entertainment or something I can use to decorate my room or the house. Any craft that involves power tools is especially alluring to me.
Some accomplishments in my life I am proud of include my internship this past summer with Congressman Trent Franks, acquiring my scuba license and going on my first scuba trip with my mom in Florida.
This past summer working on Capitol hill was one of the best experiences I have done. I learned and grew so much. It was much more educational than anything thing I could learn in a classroom. I was able to give tours of the Capitol, greet constituents, and sit in on a couple meetings with the Congressman and other important individuals such a a German member of Parliament. My dad is friends with the Congressman and had a meeting with him that I got to sit in on, that was an honor. I respect Congressman Trent Franks so much it was an honor to work for him.
Winter break of 2012 My mother and I went to Florida where I got to scuba dive for the first time! It was such a magical experience. I saw sea turtles that were 5 feet long and hundreds of fish in every color. It made it more memorable because I spent the time with my mother.
